Could you be dead and not realize that you are?

Are you dead, Kristin Burns?

Is your affair with your boss, Michael Turnbull, just in your imagination?

Are your alleged photographic abilities a liability?

Why do some people cringe and seem petrified when they see you?

Are you dreaming or in another dimension?

What if James Patterson is telling us of life after death?

Do you believe?

A confounding novel!

Many thanks for another great Christmas gift as I read “You’ve Been Warned.”

Yes, this is a different kind of read from Mr. Patterson, but why not!

Change is good!

Many reviewers online rate this book poorly, but this outstanding read kept me spellbound!

Every book by Mr. Patterson does not have to be about Alex or the Woman’s Club!

The many twists and turns had me wondering what was going to happen next.

Every fact of life was covered: life, death, love, kids, sex, jobs, greed, lies, truth, marriage, single, schools, deceit, lust, ghosts, nightmares, and life-after-death!

Every book is not for everybody, but change is good! Read “You’ve Been Warned” for yourself!

As I ponder what to write on this rain-soaked Sunday, the characters are really what make “Pursuit of Honor” so realistic!

Mitch of course is his usual pragmatic self, but the terrorists, there is something different. Is there really a soul in an al Qaeda member? Can he feel for the infidels? Do they really battle among themselves over whom to kill?

What is the real reason behind Glen Adams operation to get to Mitch Rapp? Is he really a moralist? Or a self-appointed judge of the CIA?

Are Mitch’s interrogation methods too harsh?

Are Mike Nash and Hakim “blood” brothers?

I never like to reveal too much about an outstanding novel, so yes get Vince’s latest for yourself!

Do you crack under pressure? At your job, as a husband, as a wife, as a father, as a mother… well do you?

What if instead of going to the office to shuffle papers, or building a skyscraper, or giving care at the hospital
you had to hunt down and kill terrorists!

Would you crack?

Not only does Mitch Rapp have to chase down terrorists, but he has to “babysit” his own man. Mike Nash who was recruited by Mitch is having problems.

In Vince Flynn’s newest novel “Pursuit of Honor“, a group of unknown terrorists attack in Washington, DC at the National Counterterrorism Center and kill 185 citizens. Mike and Mitch are in the middle of the attack and Mike’s heroics save many people.

Wait a minute, did I say unknown terrorists?

Of course not, they are from al Qaeda. The Lion of al Qaeda. Karim, Hakim, and Ahmed. Where are they? In Iowa? In Arkansas? Can Mitch find them?

What does Glen Adams, the Inspector General at the Justice Department, have to do with the attacks? Is he a traitor?

Another great read from Vince Flynn so far… more next week!

Reading some of the comments on Amazon about ” Hostile Intent ” by Michael Walsh made me laugh! Sure you can read into any story what you want, but please come on this is a novel! Politics has taken over our mind-set! Think outside your small world and realize these ” fiction ” books are fun! Sorry for the little rant, I’m not looking for perfect! Now…

Emanuel Skorzeny wanted Devlin taken out and hired the best he thought at doing so, a soldier of fortune named Milverton. Wait, that name Milverton sounds familiar, yes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes.

Tom Powers ( Devlin ) has met Milverton on the battlefield before and wanted to meet him again.

I especially liked the use of special weapons, internet secrets, and even movie allusions that Mr. Walsh uses in the fast paced story.

While most readers likened this novel to a Vince Flynn thriller, the similarity was not there for me. The way of describing his characters really got me to know each one in a way that put you into their own mindset. I really appreciate this style of writing. This is why I read fiction, to ” get away.”

Of course I could tell you more of  Hostile Intent, but I believe you will enjoy this new novel! Get it today!

hostile-intentI’ve finished Hostile Intent and sent my review to Bookreporter.com.

Gomer Pyle from the Andy Griffith Show summed up my feelings best when he said, “It makes you think!”

This is what we all think about now security, politics, internet, money and love! Now the order does not matter, but is this not true? Our lives are now consumed by news of what this or that government wants us to believe next. Getting all this good or bad news is now instant!

Ever since Columbine, our nervousness about our children and their safekeeping is foremost on our minds.

Then 9/11 increased that tension 1000 fold.

Surely no terrorists would attack a school in Edwardsville, Illinois, the heartland of America!

Yet as Emma and Rory are dropped of in front of their school, their terror begins!

President Tyler cannot believe this is happening in his regime! General Seelye tells the President to call in “Devlin.”
Why was this atrocious act bringing heartache to so many kids and their parents? What could they want? Who were these men? Who can bring them down? Only, Devlin, special B4 ops.

Emanuel Skorzeny is an old man like me, yet he his a billionaire, not like me. What could he possibly have to do with this unthinkable operation? He was known all over the world as a philanthropist whose Skorzeny Foundation helped the poor, the needy, the oppressed, and the hungry.

What could he need or want?

More next week…
