I believe I’ve read The Da Vinci Code three times and still recognize facts I did not remember the last time. Whoa, did I say facts? It sure seems that way!

If all the hype around this months release of The Lost Symbol is true then I can’t wait to get my hands on this novel!

Have you see the Today Show schedule? Matt Lauer has been traveling to all the books locations to present clues to viewers. This exciting format starts September 8 and ends September 15 with an exclusive interview with the author Dan Brown.

I also hope to see another movie starring Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon based on this book.

OK, family my birthday wish is…

The Fantastic Four #1 (November 1961). Cover art by Jack Kirby (penciler) and unconfirmed inker.

Aah… those days of youth, watching for the delivery truck to bring the latest comics to the grocery
store just across the street!

I had three dimes so I had to choose between Flash, Green Lantern, The Fantastic Four and/or Thor and Dr. Strange.

Reading about these superheroes put a child into a different world never to be known as an adult.

Now that the news of Disney buying Marvel Comics, a lot of good memories come rushing back. Not only of the comics themselves, but of grandparents, childhood friends, and school buddies long since put into the past.

Why Mom did you throw out all those comic books?
